Alter Irrigation or Residential Water Supply System to Suit Our Needs

Water is the indispensable thing for our survival. We have found a lot of water pipelines and faucets in our house. In fact, they are all the water supply valves, affecting well at providing water and bring in convenience. Therefore, it is necessary, even important, to have some knowledge of the installation for them. Such does favors for us to be able to alter irrigation or residential water supply system to suit our needs.

This task is rather easy. Everybody can hold onto it. At first, we should get every tools or necessities ready for the installing process. The main things we need are the rag, bucket, clean cloth, pipe dope or thread-seal tape, pipe wrench, adjustable wrench and the required water supply valve. Secondly, it is necessary to turn the main water supply off. Otherwise, unpleasant situations, even great damages, would lead you in a loss. Plumbing fixtures should be opened followed, aiming to allow water to drain. Secondly, target at the valve which need exchanging. Put the bucket and rag under the target valve until the water inside the valve has been drained over. Afterwards, use the pipe wrench and adjustable wrench to remove the valve out of the pipe. Fourthly, do some cleaning work on the pipes or some relative components. When the residue and old thread-seal tape has been wiped out by the clean cloth, apply a new coating of pipe dope or thread-seal tape to the external threads of the supply pipe or the new water supply valve. At last, tighten the hexagonal rim on the valve and the connection with the pipe tightly with help of the pipe wrench and adjustable wrench. Turn on the main water supply to inspect the leakage. If no leakage exists, all work has been down perfectly. If leakage exists, try to find the reasons and solve the problem before it put into practical daily use.
